LOOKING FOR A SOURCING COORDINATOR FOR PREPRODUCTION DEPARTMENT.  

Job Title:  PRE-PRODUCTION SOURCING COORDINATOR - ASIA 
Department Interfaces: Development, Testing, Manufacturing, Asia Factories

JOB SUMMARY:

Supports the timeliness of InCharacter 
Costumes pre-production sourcing. Position will assist in sourcing and 
facilitate the completion of sourcing projects as directed by Pre-production 
Director of Sourcing and Product Development - Asia.  Primary point of contact between factory 
sourcing employees and ICC Pre-Production department. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in sourcing as needed to 
facilitate completion or problem solving on sourcing issues.Work with factories on a daily basis to 
facilitate and determine status of sourcing at individual factories.Ensure factories understand ICC 
directions regarding sourcing requests sent.Set sourcing deadlines with factories as 
directed by Pre-Production Director.Meet with factory sourcing people 
frequently to review sourcing requests, answer questions, and determine 
sourcing issues. Communicate issues to ICC as they occur.Review sourcing samples before they 
leave factory. Determine if sample meets ICC request and approve for 
sending to San Diego. Give direction for sourcing samples that 
are not approved for submitting to San Diego.Maintain status of sourcing by factory.ongoing communication of sourcing status 
to ICC.

Fluent in Mandarin and English Excellent organizational and prioritization skills Strong attention to detail Fast worker, self-starter and quick learnerAbility to work independentlyAbility to read and interpret spec sheets and 
sourcing requests Assertive but good interpersonal and 
communication skills Good analytical and problem solving abilities Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word). 
Available for frequent travel
